Santorini, Greece is at the top of my list because of the beautiful scenery and breath-taking sunsets.
If you weren't doing what you do today, what other job would you have?
I would love to get into forensic dentistry.
What one word best describes you?
Multitalented.
What are you surprisingly good at/what is your hidden talent?
I have an artsy side and love to zone out on craft projects… I need to update my vision board.
What is your favorite thing about your career/job and how long have you been doing it?
I have worked in oral surgery since 2004 and my favorite thing about my job is the people. Every day I interact with all kinds of different personalities. I love the challenge of easing someone's worries or providing input to teammates to help them navigate challenges.
If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Pico, Azores, Portugal because that’s where my dad originally is from, and I’d love to explore my heritage!
If you weren’t doing what you do today, what other job would you have?
Professional dance choreographer.
What one word best describes you?
Resilient.
What are you surprisingly good at/what is your hidden talent?
Partner dancing. I have over 25 years of studio experience and discovered the fun of country dancing 8 years ago! I met my husband out dancing and that’s something we do every other week since we’ve met!
What is your favorite thing about your career/job and how long have you been doing it?
Being in the Dental Field since 2019, I really enjoy curating a wonderful environment for my patients and staff while providing a balance of helping others and problem-solving. While keeping everything organized and running smoothly, I want to ensure our patients feel comfortable with their treatment. I take pride in my position and enjoy providing our superior patient experience with our incredible doctors!

If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Sicily to visit my family, some I have never met and some I haven’t seen in many years and I miss them. I want to make homemade Scillian pizza and sit on the beach and reconnect.
If you weren't doing what you do today, what other job would you have?
I actually played around with the idea of becoming a doctor, but ultimately I thoroughly enjoy assisting so much, I have no regrets!
What one word best describes you?
Loyal.
What are you surprisingly good at/what is your hidden talent?
I consider myself a great rapper! My friends and family might disagree, but they’re just jealous.
What is your favorite thing about your career/job and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been in the medical/dental field for 30 years, oral surgery for 6 years. My favorite thing about oral surgery is the satisfaction of knowing you are helping someone in pain or discomfort, scared, to feel better and give them reassurance, hope and the knowledge to understand all of their options, and finally, to see the end results and happy smiles on our patient’s faces. We are here to help their life become more fulfilling and functional and I’m excited to be a part of that.
If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
If I could spend a week anywhere in the world, it would be FIJI. The reason I chose Fiji is because of its stunning natural beauty, including pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush tropical forests.
If you weren't doing what you do today, what other job would you have?
I appreciate the dental field, and there’s nothing else I would like to do besides dentistry. I am still going to school to hopefully become a dentist one day.

Peaceful.
What are you surprisingly good at/what is your hidden talent?
I have ran 3 half marathons without stopping.
What is your favorite thing about your career/job and how long have you been doing it?
Helping others understand their dental health and providing compassionate care and empathy for the patient. I have been in the dental field for 7 years and a surgical assistant for 5.

If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
If I could spend a week anywhere if would be Alaska, I have been wanting to see the Northern Lights since I was about 6 years old, I remember first discovering them when I watched a movie from Disney called ‘Brother Bear’. One of my favorites but ever since then im constantly looking up pictures and recently started planning a trip for it in the following years!
If you weren’t doing what you do today, what other job would you have?
I would be a Registered Nurse, allowing me to remain in the medical field in a different capacity. I have a passion for helping people in any way possible, a calling I've discussed since I was 12 years old and became my grandpa's caregiver.

Empathetic.
What are you surprisingly good at/what is your hidden talent?
Baking.
What is your favorite thing about your career/job and how long have you been doing it?
My favorite part of my career is the opportunity to help and bond with patients. I love engaging them in conversation, asking about their day, and connecting on a personal level; some of them make me laugh uncontrollably, while others are incredibly sweet. I have been in the medical field since I was technically 14, starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and moving through various related roles since. I genuinely love what I do and am thrilled to be working at Boulder OMS to further my education and build new patient relationships.

If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I would love to spend a week in Switzerland! The stunning green landscapes and breathtaking waterfalls I’ve seen in photos and videos make it one of the top destinations on my travel bucket list.
If you weren’t doing what you do today, what other job would you have?
If I weren’t doing what I do today, I’d probably work in social work. I’ve always had a passion for helping people and making a positive impact on their lives.
What one word best describes you?
Genuine.
What are you surprisingly good at/what is your hidden talent?
I’d like to say I am good at photography and the arts. I love capturing moments through photos, it’s true when they say a picture speaks a thousand words. I also enjoy painting, coloring, and working on creative projects that let me express myself.
What is your favorite thing about your career/job and how long have you been doing it?
My favorite part of my job is creating a safe and welcoming environment where people feel comfortable and cared for. Although I’m new to working in a human medical office, I bring over three years of experience building connections and supporting clients in a veterinary setting.
